    Student Council

    In order to establish a link between faculty and students, help students solve problems, make them responsible and accountable, foster leadership qualities, and make them active partners in the smooth functioning of the Vidyalaya, a Student Council should be constituted.

    Duties of Members of the Student Council

    School Captain (Boy/Girl)

    1. Provide guidance and support to the students of their house in various inter-house competitions.
    2. Work closely with the CCA teacher coordinating extracurricular programmes by providing inputs and ideas for engaging activities and house events.
    3. Conduct regular meetings with the members of the house.
    4. Encourage and motivate students of their house to actively participate in various activities.
    5. Set a good example at all times through appropriate behaviour, attitude, discipline, and dress.
    6. Be available to represent the school in events held outside the school.

    School Vice Captain (Boy/Girl)

    The Vice Captain assists the School Captain in carrying out various responsibilities. The Vice Captain may act as the Captain in the absence or unavailability of the School Captain and may assume the responsibilities of the Captain when required.

    School Sports Captain/Vice Captain (Boy/Girl)

    1. A Sports Captain is not merely a title; it is a responsibility, a duty, and a reflection of commitment and teamwork. The Sports Captain is the backbone of the team, providing leadership, organizing activities, and uniting team members. The Captain is responsible for bringing out the best in each player and ensuring that everyone works harmoniously towards a common goal.
    2. Sports leaders are responsible for representing the school in sporting events held within or outside the school. They assist in maintaining discipline and are also responsible for promoting a healthy and positive sporting environment for all students.

    House Captain/Vice Captain (Boy/Girl)

    The House Captain is a student who excels in sports as well as co-curricular activities. The student actively participates in one or more of the various activities organized by the school at the inter-house level. The House Captain works closely with the House Moderators and helps coordinate and motivate students in various house activities.

    House CCA Captain/CCA Vice Captain (Boy/Girl)

    They are students who have demonstrated a strong interest in cultural activities such as dance, drama, music, debate, and elocution. They are willing to devote additional time and work closely with teachers responsible for various events. They actively contribute to promoting cultural activities and events conducted throughout the school year.
