NIPUN (National Initiative for Proficiency in Reading with Understanding and Numeracy) is a programme launched by the Ministry of Education with the objective of strengthening foundational learning among students up to Grade III. Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan has taken effective measures to equip teachers with essential teaching-learning materials, assessment worksheets, etc., to make learning joyful and inclusive, thereby strengthening foundational skills among children in the age group of 3 to 9 years.
A workshop was organized in the school to provide information regarding the implementation of foundational literacy and numeracy activities, the assessment process, and the maintenance of records. The presentation was delivered through a PPT by the school’s Senior Primary Teacher, Mrs. Parul Goyal. All primary teachers participated in the workshop.
